HELP

Using InviteHop

Create and share invitations, manage RSVPs and troubleshoot account access.

Your first invitation

  1. Choose a design. Use a starter design, or describe a design with AI when it is enabled for your account. Continue to party details.
  2. Add party details. Check the name, date, time, time zone and venue. Host details and an RSVP deadline are optional.
  3. Save your draft. Start before signing in with a draft on this device. Once signed in, changes save to your account automatically. Wait for “Saved to account” before switching devices.
  4. Review and publish. Check all details and choose your invitation’s link. Publishing makes it accessible to anyone with the link.
  5. Share. Copy the link into your own text or email, or download your invitation with its QR code. Guests don’t need an account.
  6. View guest replies. Open My events, then Guests & RSVPs. Read questions and reply privately from the guest’s card.
Create an invitation

For guests

Open the invitation link or scan its QR code. Choose whether you’re coming and enter the attendee’s name. Submit one reply per attendee; contact details, allergies, and notes are optional.

After replying, keep your private RSVP link. It opens your response on another device and lets you read messages from the host. Keep this link private. Anyone with it can access your response.

If your plans change, update the saved reply before the deadline. After replies close, contact the host. Your reply and host messages remain available through your private link.

Email confirmation is available when the invitation’s RSVP form says it is enabled. Keep your private link even if you supply an email address.

Printing with Walgreens

Publish your invitation, then choose Download or print invitation on the sharing screen. Download the complete JPEG in your chosen size; its RSVP link and QR code are included. Open Walgreens Photo, choose a matching upload-your-own product, and upload the file there.

Check cropping, spelling, and the QR code in Walgreens’ preview. Prices, paper, pickup, payment, and orders are handled by Walgreens. InviteHop does not place print orders.

Common questions

Does AI fill in my party details?

Yes. Choose Generate invitation to create a design, matching artwork and party details from one description when AI artwork is enabled for your account. Include the name, age, date, times, time zone, venue, address and any instructions you know. Review the invitation and suggested facts together, then apply them. Details you don’t mention stay as entered, and everything remains editable.

If you provide a month and day without a year, InviteHop uses this year, or next year if that day has already passed in the event’s time zone. The review shows the full date and any year assumption. Add a year to request a specific date.

Your private draft must finish saving before artwork can be created. If artwork cannot finish, you can still use the design and details, or choose Retry artwork. Under the optional design adjustments, Replace artwork only changes the image without generating new wording or details. Generating or applying a suggestion does not publish or send invitations.

Drafts and artwork use the separate beta allowances shown in the invitation editor. If a request is interrupted, keep the same description and try again to check its result. Draft JSON exports refer to your account’s stored artwork; use the same account when reopening them. Finished JPEG, PNG and SVG downloads include the artwork.

What artwork is allowed?

Use family-friendly artwork suitable for children’s invitations. Sexual content, nudity, gore, hate or extremist symbols, self-harm, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and threatening imagery are not allowed. Descriptions and generated images must pass safety checks. If a check rejects the artwork or cannot finish, the image is not shown or saved; you can continue with an editable template.

Always review artwork before applying, publishing or printing it. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not provide a formal age rating. A blocked or failed attempt still counts toward the artwork allowance and is not automatically regenerated.

Can I change the invitation’s wording?

In the design step, open Adjust wording, colors or layout, then Edit invitation wording. Edit the main heading, opening line, host and contact labels, guest instructions, RSVP wording and footer. You can add your own tagline or caption, or clear an optional line. Use the party details step for names, dates, times and location. Text edits use no AI requests, and Undo restores your last change.

Does my invitation save automatically?

Yes, when you’re signed in and editing an invitation. Changes save privately to your account after you pause typing. Wait for “Saved to account” before switching devices. Publishing or applying changes to a live invitation is a separate step that requires your review.

Before signing in, your draft stays on this device. If saving is interrupted, keep the page open and use the retry or sign-in action shown with the save status.

Where did my draft go?

Browser drafts belong to the device and browser you used. Clearing browser storage may remove them. Sign in and wait for the saved status to keep an account copy. If another tab changed the invitation, keep a draft export before choosing whether to use the saved version.

Why can’t I publish?

Add the required event details, confirm the end time follows the start time, and choose an available event link. Sign in and confirm your account email if prompted. The review screen explains any missing details.

Can I change the link after printing?

Yes. Open Publish & share while editing your invitation, or the event’s sharing section in My events, then choose Change invitation link. Earlier shared links and printed QR codes keep opening the same invitation. Changing the link does not publish unfinished edits or make earlier links private.

Each event can keep up to 10 distinct link names. To prevent misuse, an account can reserve up to 20 new names per hour. Reusing one of that event’s earlier names does not use another allowance. Deleting the event stops all of its links; its old names remain reserved so they cannot later open someone else’s event.

How do I delete an event?

Open Guests & RSVPs and use Delete event at the bottom. Deletion removes the invitation and its guest replies. Download any guest list you need first.

I’m having trouble signing in.

Use the same sign-in method you used when creating your account. For a password account, use Forgot password. A reset link should be opened in the browser that requested it. If it expired, request a new one.
